Kreimann Piles Up 31 Digs, Six Aces in Four-Match Tournament Day

Alta Loma JV goes 2–2 as its freshman defensive specialist raises her passing grade every time out.

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. · August 15, 2026

Tournament days are designed to expose young players. Four matches, tired legs, and serving that gets tougher every round. Saturday's Ayala JV Tournament slate did the opposite for Alta Loma freshman Kayla Kreimann — it built her case.

The Lions' JV squad went 2–2 on the day, taking wins over Arlington and Corona before dropping decisions to Ayala and Brea Olinda. Kreimann, playing right back across all four matches, finished the tournament with 31 digs, six aces, and a serve-receive line that did something unusual: it got better every single match.

She raised her passing grade every time she took the court, closing the day with back-to-back 2.0 serve-receive performances — the last one coming in her fourth match of the day against the toughest opponent on the schedule.

Her 15-dig effort against Corona set a season high, and her serving turned into a genuine weapon: three aces against Arlington alone, six on the day, against just two errors across roughly 28 serve attempts on the weekend.

The Class of 2030 defender, who also competes for IMUA UVC's 15UA program, now holds a 2.0 serve-receive rating across her first five high school matches with just two reception errors on 24 charted attempts — alongside 42 digs, a 3–2 team record, and a dig rate of more than eight per match.

The trend line is the story. Freshmen are supposed to fade in game four. This one graded out at her best.

TOURNAMENT LINE — K. KREIMANN (Fr., RB/DS)

SEASON THROUGH 5 MATCHES: 42 digs · 2.0 serve-receive rating (24 att, 2 errors) · 6 aces
