Alta Loma JV made it two straight wins Tuesday, sweeping Kaiser 2–0 behind a service game that never let Kaiser get comfortable — and freshman #4 Kayla Kreimann was the one holding the ball for a lot of it.
Kreimann went to the line 12 times across the two sets. Two of those serves were aces. Eight of them forced Kaiser into a one-pass — a ball the setter had to chase instead of run an offense behind. Charted courtside, Kaiser passed a 1.00 off her serve on the night. One serve missed. The other eleven made Kaiser earn every point.
The back row matched it. Kreimann finished with nine digs in two sets and passed a 2.0 on four serve-receive attempts — two perfect, one good, one error — from her right-back seat.
The bigger picture
Six matches into her first high school season, the Lions are 4–2 and Kreimann's line reads 51 digs, a 2.0 serve-receive rating, and eight aces. The serve has gone from a skill to a weapon: across the season, opponents are passing just 1.30 off her, and 62 percent of her serves are grading as positive — either an ace or a ball the other side could not run its offense behind.
It was a team win first — two sets, every rotation contributing, and a bench that never sat down. But when a coach flips on the film, a lot of the points that mattered will start the same way: No. 4 at the line, ball in hand.
